The villa is ideal for a group of couples or for large families with older children. Spacious terraces spread across multiple levels offering different lounging areas from which to enjoy the view, and a number of choices for drinking and dining. The 590 ft2 (55 m2) pool is the largest private pool on the Caldera, an excellent reason to stay at home during the busy days of August. Moulded into the volcanic rock, bedrooms are cool and airy during the day, and dark and very quiet during the night. Each is unique, opening onto large terraces and stunning views, and all are independent, with separate entrances, en suite facilities, and a small kitchen. Decoration is simple and elegant, and great attention has been given to comfort and detail, and the little things that make a difference, giving the villa the air of a relaxed family house. While bedrooms aim for maximum peace and quiet, the living rooms are places for friends and family to come together. Fully equipped with home cinema, flat screen televisions and sound systems, they are equally suited to card and board games, or a simple game of charades. Santorini is world famous for her stunning views of the Caldera and the surrounding islands and one of the most photographed places on Earth. Less well-known are her long, volcanic black sand beaches, the arid vineyards that produce exceptional wines, and the very important ancient ruins of the Minoan civilization.
